1950 ca, origin: England, in steel, cast iron and aluminium, perfect
Built in the English factory of of "Berkels & Parnals" is the latest model of flywheel slicer built by Berkel.
Weighing in at 112kg, at first sight it looks nothing like its predecessors, the casing of the machine has a rounded shape, the mechanics is covered by carter as the connecting rods inside the machine.
The upper carriage, almost entirely in stainless steel in contact with the product to be cut, flows driven by a large pin, has the feed screw below the cart driven by a slicer to the left side, with the possibility to choose from 14 adjustment shims. The upper clamp is a "closed arm" type with the two studs on the blade side, facing each other, all operated by the fly-wheel. The shoulder is also rounded and resized welcomes inside of it the sharpener which for the first time does not remain visible during operation.
The blade is 37 cm in diameter. For its mechanical quality this is certainly one of the most accurate and functional slicers.
height 65 cm - depth 96 cm.
