The buyer (according to post report) wasn't present and the order was shipped back to me. Instead of watch it was some rubbish arrived and I opened an investigation together with post NL. Post NL asked for some pictures from the buyer. He promised to email those photos but he didn't. The investigation is waiting for his answer. Instead of photos I receive a negatve feedback.

The system of feedbacks is is designed to assess the quality of goods sold by the seller, and not the speed of mail delivery. The watch was shipped on the day of the payment to the right address. It was not delivered because the buyer wasn't at home. After two attempts, the Deutsche Post shipped it back to me. I asked the buyer to oay for the second delivery. He didn't answer within 2 months. After that Catawiki asked me to ship at my own costs and as a reward I get from Catawiki a bonus in value of 20 € to cover my expenses. It was no any track of my fault and the item is excellent. I'm not responsible for the post. More than this, I am not responsible for the fact that the buyer wasn't at home at two moments of delivery. And it's not me who didn't answer for two months.

I did really everything, everything in my power to force Post NL. The parcel should be delivered within 10 working days, and the buyer is informed about. Before that I started investigation at the first possible day, without loosing time. And when the buyer told me that he didn't get the parcel, I called Post NL same very moment and I reported always all the updates to the buyer. This feedback is unfair and insulting, given how much time and effort I put in order to contact post NL many times. The item was shipped at the first day after payment and every claim of the buyer was taking into consideration immediately.

I check all my watches before selling, plus I give warranty for one year for my items. So, I proposed to the buyer to ship the watch back to me and I'll take care of repair. The buyer refused, referring to the high cost of shipping from Canada. He said, he'll check the price of local repair. All the correspondence is available. I answered, let me know the price before you let the watcj be repaired. Instead, few days later the buyer wrote that the watch is already by the watchmaker for repair and that the repair will be expensive. Of course, I answered: if the repair will be more expensive than shipping costs, I refuse to pay for it. If this is "rude communication", then what is a polite one? Probably, that's the matter of taste. As a matter of fact, we are not in school of good manners but rather
in auction business. Which means, the content in our situation is more important
than the form. The watch was shipped and received fast. The price was attractive. The repair for free was offered, althogh the damage is most likely the result of shipment. Please, don't accept this claim: it doesn't have anything to do with the sold item. Thank you.
