Magnificent set of two boxes and Jacques Brel portfolio ‘oeuvres poétiques’ by Raymond Moretti, published by Armand and Georges Israel, 1985-1986. Limited edition of 800 copies, this one is numbered 329 Accompanied by a 44 x 55 cm Jacques Brel lithograph, signed in pencil by Raymond Moretti and numbered 282. Volumes 1 and 2 in a double case. The slipcase is covered in almond green velvet with brown titles and patterns on the half moon spine and on the front cover of Volume 2. 2 volumes in folio, 47 x 36 cm, 148 and 234 pages. 4 sheets with table of content and publisher's justification, on sheets in a white cardboard sleeve illustrated in relief. Decorated with 30 lithographs signed by Raymond Moretti and printed on full or double page plates (15 per volume). Ateliers Dabermill and Ateliers Lithographiques Jobin. The casing was created by the master craftsman Jean Duval. Printed 26th August 1986. With 47 x 68 cm portfolio sleeve lined with almond green suede with print representing a portrait of Jacques Brel, including 20 small 32 X 43 cm lithographs and 10 large 43 X 64 cm lithographs signed in the plate. Condition: The 2 boxes and the sleeve are in perfect condition. The lithograph signed in pencil by Raymond Moretti shows some foxing stains. In the portfolio sleeve 3 small lithographs have a crafted horizontal band across the back, 4 lithographs show some yellowing on the back and 2 show slight traces of scotch (see last photos). Carefully packed and sent by registered mail with insurance.
