Italian cradle of the second half of the 18th century.
Typical of the mountain valleys, where it was common practice to decorate the lightweight cradles for babies with very simple floral motifs. The extreme lightness of the wood allowed easy transport.
Unfortunately, one side of the cradle has not held up to the passage of time and is inevitably compromised. The restored damage does not compromise the overall visual appearance of the object.
