The series "Portholes of the World" is inspired by the Old Station Tunnel in Roermond, Holland. The holes in the tunnel from where you look from one side to the other, are illuminated in different colors. All the stills in the circle in the artwork displayed, are made with my iphone, while traveling over the world since 2012.
This particular artwork is made of a polished plexiglass plate of 80 by 60 cm and is a 'one of five' piece that will be produced of the "Portholes Bike Boys". Because of a unique way of printing the artwork in the circle, it has a 3D effect and seems like the circle is shining bright in the center of the plate that will be mounted 2 cm from the wall (see pictures)
The original Bike Boys has been made in 2013 in Islington London.
