Angelo Molinari was born in Ameno (Novara) in 1956, where he still lives and works.
He completed his artistic studies at the Art Institute of Venice and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino. In 1986 he went to China and then to Japan, where he learned the techniques of oriental painting.
His versatility led him to a long collaboration with the Oca Blu publishing house in Omegna and with the photographer Walter Zerla. He edited the editions of some art volumes with them.
In 1990 he exhibited at Galleria Spriano in Omegna, the beginning of a long collaboration.
He also made unique pieces in glass fusing in the Casarini studio in Savona and in Paolo Piscia’s workshop in Feriolo.
Since 2000 he has been decorating ceramics in the San Giorgio workshop of Albisola Mare.
