Lot of 6 silk-screen prints on silk by Giuseppe Mario D'Amico, an Italian painter and engraver who lived in the 20th century. All works are signed in pencil at the bottom right ‘G.M. D'Amico’ and ‘D'Amico’. Made from vintage silk fabric and enclosed by a passe-partout, they can be dated back to the 1970s and come with a beautiful coeval wooden frame. Each one is titled on back.
Artworks in excellent overall condition Frames with small signs of wear.
D'Amico shows an excellent technique in portraying landscapes and views, as well as a rigorous perspective approach in detecting every detail with miniature refinement. A beautiful light design cuts the space out in suggestive flashes. Don't miss this important collection of works from the series ‘Natura incontaminata’ and ‘Ritratti e vedute di città’.

Nel caso specifico, trattandosi di una pittura datata, il foglio presentava alcune punte ingiallite, nella parte non dipinta, che ad ogni modo non compromettevano l'integrità dell'opera. Devo però ricordare che tutte le foto che eseguiamo in preparazione dell'asta, e questo caso non fa eccezione, sono complete e ritraggono l'opera nella sua interezza, quindi escludo che ci sia qualcosa di cui accorgersi soltanto a vendita ultimata che non sia già visibile nelle molteplici foto di cui era composto il lotto. Ad ogni modo, fatte le debite precisazioni, le faremo un'attenzione particolare, in termini di sconto, al suo prossimo acquisto.
